1973年1月出生于四川省南部县。教授,博士生导师。1996年获图书馆VIP理学学士学位(地球化学),2001年获图书馆VIP理学博士学位(地球化学)。2001年8月至今在图书馆VIP从事教学和科研工作,2004年1月被聘为副教授,2008年1月被聘为教授。获2004年国家自然科学奖二等奖(排名第二),2005年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,获2006年“侯德封奖”、2009年“孙贤鉥奖”、2015年教育部自然科学一等奖(第三完成人)。2011年获得“国家杰出青年科学基金”。
